Our Bishop Vacation Rentals, such as Loch Leven, were built by the Cardinal gold miners themselves at the turn of the century.
We have our very own rustic paradise. Our resort has stunning views of mountain scenery, plentiful hiking trails and fishing spots! And all within the Sierra National Forest! Nature and serenity are very easily appreciated here.
As the cabin closest to the lodge, Loch Leven offers a quiet outdoor picnic area, overlooking Kid’s Creek – a great spot for a BBQ and an evening campfire. This cabin does not have a microwave. Be sure to check the General Store for the all-important S’more ingredients!
With the recent renovations in 2020, this guest-favorite now looks better than ever! Loch Leven sleeps up to five people. One bedroom has three Twin beds; the second bedroom has a Full bed.
Furthermore, Cardinal is perfect for families! Our resort has a beautiful open front lawn. You can even bring yard games to set up for afternoon fun!
Not only that, but adjacent to our private property is Cardinal Pond! It’s stocked throughout the summer and set up for beginner fishermen! Also, the pond is a favorite spot for artists to set up and work for a peaceful afternoon.
