Of all our cabins in Inyo National Forest, Golden Trout is our largest and most popular at Cardinal Village Resort. Golden Trout was the original stable for the gold miner’s horses.
Please Note: This listing is for the entire cabin (upstairs + downstairs). If you only need the downstairs unit, you can book just the downstairs here.
Booking Upstairs and Downstairs, this cabin sleeps up to sixteen people! It’s great for family reunions, company parties or any group gathering. It’s equipped with two Queen-sized beds and four Twin-sized beds downstairs, with linens and towels. Upstairs has eight bunks — with no linens provided. For the upstairs, please bring your own towels and sheets, as the beds are only furnished with a blanket and a pillow with a clean case. This cabin includes a large kitchen and spacious living room. Complete with a warming fireplace, you can’t go wrong with this cabin!
Due to its popularity, you should book a year in advance!

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR ALL CABINS:
Cancelling your reservation will incur a $50 cancellation fee.
— If you cancel 30 days or more prior to your arrival date, the remaining amount from your deposit will be refunded to the card we have on file.
— If you cancel your reservation within 30 days of your arrival date, your deposit will be forfeited unless we are able to re-rent your cabin.
