Bishop Camping Cabins
Fishgut, a camping cabin, offers a great location to Bishop Creek and not much else!
This dry, one-room cabin holds six single beds (3 bunk beds) — no linens provided. It also has a couch, two arm chairs, and a kitchen table.
You will find an outdoor faucet near the cabin. A portable toilet, private to you, is a short walk away. Upon check-in, you are provided with a key to this portable toilet, and it is serviced regularly.
This cabin is just one step up from camping and definitely is not for everyone! However, if you need to get acclimated, it is the perfect cabin for an overnighter before you hike into the backcountry.
Fishgut, and its “twin” Bottleneck, are the only two cabins on-site you can book for a single night.
When you stay at Fishgut, you steps away from peaceful hiking trails, quiet fishing holes, and endless opportunities to unwind in nature.
After a day of exploring and fishing, gather around your own outdoor fire pit for a cozy evening under the stars, or enjoy a relaxing meal at your private picnic table.
The wide-open front lawn is the perfect place to set up yard games, stretch out in the sun, or simply take in the scenery. Just beyond the property sits Cardinal Pond which is a summertime favorite for fishing, especially for beginner anglers. Artists and photographers also love the pond for its calm atmosphere and inspiring backdrop.
Fishgut is a great place to stay for your next mountain retreat, and is a great cabin designed for the simple pleasures and memorable moments.
