Thank you for sending the photo. As usual, we had a great time. I wanted to say, how much we appreciate the people at the Village. All of them are very friendly and polite. There are many areas in the Sierra, Nevada mountains that have similar scenery and fishing spots. But the people at the village are hard to beat.

Dear ShaleAnn, Ken, Hal and Barbara, and children,
I want to express my sincere gratitude to all of you for making my 50th birthday
one to remember. I could not have been happier, or more relaxed on my
special day. The scenery and mellow atmosphere of Cardinal Village was
perfect. Although I am not a fisherman, I enjoyed seeing some of the fish
that are caught locally, especially the 9 pound trout I saw being weighed.
Perhaps I will give it a try next time.
I most enjoyed the readily available hiking trails of the immediate area.
I must have hiked 35-40 miles. Such scenery!
Your gracious hospitality and friendly attitude were most refreshing after
coming from Washington DC.
If you ever get back East, please be sure to look us up.
